AquaScrubber

An addition to the AquaTank vent system, designed to scrub harmful fumes from the tank vent during a fill and normal operation, the recirculation of scrubbing liquor is automated and monitored.

Standard Features

• For chemicals that require it, Aquazone is able to provide an automated bulk tank fume scrubber with pH monitoring.
• The scrubbing tower is designed to operate on the recirculating packed tower mass transfer approach, using water as the scrubbing liquor. The process design is based on a scrubbing liquor temperature of 20°C.
• The thermoplastic scrubbing tower fabrication will be manufactured from UV stabilised polypropylene.
• Supplied with a recirculating pump of 5m³ per hour.
• Scrubber recirculating pump control system featuring pump on, pump off, pump fault, constant running for tanker delivery mode and alternative timer based running operator manual selection.
