Aquazone has invested in the development of a range of standard modular treatment assemblies that can be configured within an Off-Site Build GRP kiosk (AquaMod) or as standalone products. The AquaMod series can be configured to produce incredibly versatile and robust package plant dosing systems to conduct chemical dosing safely. Based on a few design parameters, a complete standard dosing package can be rapidly specified to provide essential upfront design information.

These modular elements combined with a security or non-security GRP kiosk can fulfil either single or dual point dosing. Standard chemical dosing kiosk layouts provide fully bunded working volumes from 500L to 40,000L, either as single or twin bulk storage tanks.

This industry leading modular approach provides safe and economical Off-Site Build with an operational design life of 25 years. The Aquazone standard modular products offer a significant reduction in lead-time along with superior value over a bespoke dosing package.

All Aquazone products are designed and built to the highest standards and supplied with a full factory test in accordance with WIMES along with a certificate of conformity.

Standard Features

• The AquaMod series of GRP kiosks are provided by industry leading GRP enclosure manufacturers. The standard construction is designed and tested to BS476 Part 22 and exceeds the half-hour fire rating, retention of stability, integrity and insulation. Fire retardant resins are used internally to provide self-extinguishing laminates to BS476 Part 7 Class 2.
• Standard kiosks are provided with an integral floor consisting of a plywood base and timber joists, all of which are fully encapsulated in GRP.
• The integral 110% bulk storage capacity bund is flow coated with a chemical resistant resin, providing a minimum of 7 days containment.
• As standard the package plant is designed to operate from -10^°C to +40^°C.
• The standard kiosk dosing area is insulated to a ‘U’ Value 0.6 W/m^2°C.
• The dosing and control area is white U-PVC lined to allow the area to be easily washed down if required.
• As standard the kiosk’s external colour is a smooth satin Holly Green BS4800 14 C 39 flow coat, other BS4800 colours available upon request.
• Kiosk building services are provided by a local power distribution board, feeding internal kiosk LED lighting, heating, local 2 gang RCD protected socket and process equipment.
• Access door provided in accordance with the selected security rating; GRP access platforms provided for AquaMod series where the control & dosing area is elevated above the integral bund.

Fill Point

• Local Fill Point and Fill Point Panel displaying the following:
  • Digital display of each tank level.
  • Tank level high lamp and audible alarm.
  • Tank level high high lamp and audible alarm.
  • Bund level high lamp and audible alarm.
  • Audible alarm mute push button.
  • Test lamps and audible alarm push button.

Bulk Tanks

• The bulk tanks can be provided as either spiral wound HDPE or Plastic Lined Laminated GRP, dependent on the chemical characteristics.
• Spiral wound bulk storage tanks are designed and constructed to BS EN 12573 category 2 and manufactured from UV Stable HDPE.
• Plastic Lined Laminated GRP bulk storage tanks are designed and constructed to BS EN 13121.
• Bulk tank working volume and disengagement specified in accordance with WIMES 8.02 Chemical Dosing Equipment (General Requirements).
• Bulk tanks provided with ultrasonic level monitoring and point level high high and low low level electrodes.
• The tank outlet and drain valves are provided with extension spindles to allow operation from outside the bund flood level.
• 100NB tank overflow, fitted with water trap.
• 150NB tank vent to atmosphere.
• 50NB supply and drain outlets.

Dosing Cabinet

• The standard Aquazone segregated dosing cabinets, AquaCab series, are provided with the AquaMod range of dosing solutions.
• As standard the AquaCab is wall mounted with GRP support legs.
• The AquaCab can be supplied with either Grundfos or ProMinent digital dosing pumps.
