The Aqua UV is an incredibly versatile temporary or emergency UV Treatment capable of treating up to 400 m3/h of water, and all packaged within a 20ft ISO container. Operating a duty UV reactor for drinking water disinfection, certified to internationally recognised ÖNORM / UVDGM standards. All containers are insulated and plastic lined allowing the area to be easily cleaned and washed down if required. These systems are all easy to setup ‘Plug & Play’ temporary treatment systems with repair & routine maintenance being covered under the Aquazone Hire Agreement.

  • Insulated and plastic lined 20ft ISO container.
  • Aquazone temporary hire equipment has the option to be fitted with remote monitoring, if the option is enabled this will allow the plant to be monitored remotely by Aquazone who can notify or respond as necessary to any identified faults.
  • Treatment process provided with Turbidity monitoring interlocked with UV shutdown and process isolation.
  • A leading international treatment provider manufactures the UV reactor, the ProMinent UV Dulcodes LP is suitable for drinking water disinfection.
  • High-grade stainless steel 316L reactor hydraulically optimised by means of computer simulation High-output amalgam lamp “Vario-Flux” with dynamic lamp heating.
  • Unique dynamic lamp heating adjusts the lamp output in seconds and provides for optimum disinfection even with varying flows and water temperatures.
  • Homogeneous UV dose thanks to optimised flow behaviour in the reactor guarantees maximum flow output with a minimum number of lamps and minimum pressure loss.
  • Guaranteed lamp service life of 14,000 operating hours (pro rata).
  • Electronic ballasts for the gentle ignition, operation, monitoring and control of the lamps.
  • Continuous monitoring of the reactor temperature by temperature sensor Pt 1000.
  • Data logger: all relevant operating data and all events are saved on the SD card and can simply and conveniently be visualised with an analysis programme.
  • The 20ft ISO container, along with being insulated, is provided with local area heating and forced ventilation to prevent excessive condensation.
  • All provided process pipework leading to and from the reactor is constructed using Georg Fischer’s industry leading fusion welded PE pipework, fittings and valves. EPDM seals and WRAS Approved solvents used throughout.
